The Two Rivers-Ottauquechee Regional Commission (TRORC) received a grant to work with seven area towns including Hartford to seek ways to increase opportunities for housing. Zoning can be a significant barrier for developing more housing. Density, lot sizes and parking requirements can be impractical for development in designated downtowns or villages or thwart efficiencies in project design. The purpose of this project is to modernize zoning language to allow different types of housing in each of the seven towns. TRORC is hosting two remote meetings to discuss the benefits and process of the project. All are welcome to participate. (See attached flyer)
