Attend a virtual Community Discussion hosted by the Town of Hartford Historic Preservation Commission on Thursday, June 3rd at 6:30 p.m. The Commission would like your input on a proposed townwide demolition delay of 100+ year old historic buildings to give time to document the buildings and discuss alternatives to demolition with the property owner.
Many historic buildings in Hartford have been demolished during the past thirty years. The loss of historic buildings can have a significant effect on the character of our villages and neighborhoods. There is currently a review process before a historic building can be demolished in the Downtown White River Junction Design Review District.
