Hartford’s Selectboard meets every other Tuesday at 6pm. Meetings last, on average, until 9pm. Board members also act as liaisons to a slate of Town Committees. In addition to regular meetings, the Town hold special meetings throughout the year during the budget cycle. In 2021, Board members will also be participating in a series of workshops around diversity, equity, and inclusion focusing on actions they can take in the town. Selectboard members are compensated 75 dollars for each Board and Committee meeting.

Applications are due to Lana Livingston by 5:00 pm on Thursday June 10, 2021. They can be emailed to llivingston@hartford-vt.org or hand delivered to Town Hall on the 2nd floor.
Applicants should be available for an interview during an evening the week June 21st though the 25th. The exact day and time are to be determined based on mutual availability of the candidates and the Board. The Board will interview candidates as part of an open session, meet privately to discuss, and then return to the public session for voting and appointment.
