The Town is looking for proposals with options for leasing an EV, and seeks to schedule delivery of the EV as soon as possible following the award.
The deadline for submitting a proposal has been extended to Friday, March 8, 2019. The same requirements for submission of the RFP apply. An updated RFP with modified dates has been uploaded to the Town website. Please find answers to a number of questions that have been raised below.
Q: Which trim level is the Town interested in?
A: Proposals will be evaluated primarily on lowest cost. The Town would prefer the base trim level if there is a significant difference in price between levels.
Q: Does the Town currently lease any vehicles? A:No.
Q: What color does the Town prefer?
A: The Town does not have a preference, but would prefer not to pay extra for a color.
Q: What mileage limit would the Town prefer?
A: The Town is comfortable with a mileage limit of 12,000 miles.
