Hartford Vermont Celebrates Renovated Town Hall with Open House & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Saturday, October 3, 2015.
The residents of Hartford, VT are invited to attend an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony to be held on Saturday, October 3, 2015. Tours of the newly renovated offices will start at 10:00 am; an official ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by members of the Hartford Selectboard will begin at 12:00 pm on the main steps of the building facing Bridge Street.
Town of Hartford Boards and Commission will be set up on the green at Lyman Point Park located behind the Town Hall. Residents are encouraged to visit these booths to learn more about volunteer opportunities in the Hartford community.
In 2013 the voters of Hartford passed a 4.9 million dollar bond to renovate the building. The newly renovated Hartford Town Hall is currently home to the Town Clerk, Parks and Recreation, Planning and Development, Finance and the Town Manager’s Offices. Among other upgrades, the newly renovated Town Hall contains a large Selectboard meeting room, another large meeting space as well as two smaller conference rooms on the third floor for public and private use by reservation.
