[ARCHIVED] Career Opportunity - Accounts Payable Clerk

This position performs a wide range of clerical and technical bookkeeping and accounting tasks. The most important tasks would be input and processing of the accounts payable every two weeks, input and processing of employee purchase card transactions, and billing for miscellaneous goods and services through accounts receivable. Minimum qualifications include: a high school education plus 4-5 years of college-level training or work experience in accounting or bookkeeping, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired. Must be organized, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Should be a team player, able to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with employees, elected officials and the public.
