[ARCHIVED] HARTFORD GREEN-UP DAY - SATURDAY MAY 5TH

Green-Up Day, Saturday May 5th 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Bags will be available at the Hartford Town Hall and the Quechee Village Green 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Refreshments will be provided.

Group event: The Conservation Commission will be doing a group clean-up project 5/5 leaving the Town Hall at 9:00 a.m. Volunteers are welcome to join in.

Not Available Green-Up Day: No problem. Get out and Green-up when you can. See Drop-off locations.

Drop-off Locations:

  • Hartford Town Hall: Wednesday, 5/2 – Monday, 5/7
  • Quechee Village Green: Wednesday, 5/2 – Monday, 5/7
  • Hartford Recycling Center: Saturday, 4/28 – Saturday, 5/12

Group Green-up: Green-Up is fun to do with family, friends & co-workers. We encourage group efforts.  Stop by the Town Hall or Quechee Library to sign up for a section of road or a park for your group to Green-up.  If young children are involved, pick a location away from traffic.  Neighborhoods, side streets, parks or trailhead parking areas are a safer choice.

Dress Appropriately: Wear long pants, boots, gloves, light colored clothes and check for ticks when you get home.

Questions: Contact Green-Up Day Coordinator Matt Osborn at 295-3075 or mosborn@hartford-vt.org

Many thanks to volunteers for making Hartford a better place!
