The
Town of Hartford is requesting bids for construction of sidewalk, curbing, bike
lane and retaining wall for Sykes Mountain Ave. from South Main St. to
Butternut Lane. The Town received funding from the Vermont Bicycle/ Pedestrian Program
to design & construct a sidewalk & bike lane. A non-mandatory onsite
pre-bid conference will be held for the project at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 7,
2017 at the intersection of Sykes Mountain Ave./Lower Butternut Road/Acorn
Street.
Bids must be
submitted in a sealed envelope clearly labeled “Lower Sykes Mountain Avenue Sidewalk
Construction” to the Town of Hartford Town Manager’s Office, 171 Bridge Street,
White River Jct., VT 05001, no later than 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 25, 2017. Bids
received after the noted time and date will not be accepted.
