The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for all of Vermont through 8 p.m. Wednesday evening. Our area could to see up to two feet of snow.
The storm is forecast to intensify throughout the day today. Gusty winds later this afternoon may create snow drifts and whiteout conditions. Travel will become increasingly difficult as a result, with some of the worst conditions coming during tonight’s evening commute and through Wednesday morning.
You’re encouraged to avoid driving unless it is necessary. If you must travel, please remember to give yourself additional time to get to your destination, allow yourself more distance to stop, and give plow trucks extra room to operate as they can stop, turn or back-up suddenly.
