“Hartford Police Department to host National Night Out Against Crime”
Hartford, Vermont August 2, 2016 ---- Joining the national crime prevention effort, the Hartford Police Department will participate in “National Night Out Against Crime” on Tuesday August 2, 2016. Aimed at bringing local communities and law enforcement together, “Night Out” activities will begin at 5:00pm at the Kilowatt Field in Wilder, Vermont.
A few of the scheduled activities and static displays include; Refreshments, music, kids’ activities, police K-9 demonstration, activities with the Vermont National Guard, fire trucks, and more. Police Officers and Fire Personnel will also be providing crime prevention and safety resources. In addition to the Hartford Police and Fire Departments, several government service agencies, local service clubs, the Riverbank Church and businesses will be in attendance as well.
If you are unable to attend the “National Night Out Against Crime,” but still wish to support the effort, you may do so by lighting your front porch lights.
